• Tourism Standards, Regulation And Monitoring Services
1. Conducted Accreditation Campaign – the campaign aims to increase awareness on the DILG MC No. 2019-17. A total of 81 Tourism Enterprises was inspected and owners were informed about the said memorandum circular.
2. Accredited Primary and Secondary Tourism Establishments with Certificate of Authority to Operate During Community Quarantine – The Provincial Tourism Office have recorded a total of 32 DOT Accredited Primary and Secondary Enterprises throughout the province.
3. DOT Registered Farm Tourism Sites – a total of 24 Farm Tourism Sites in the province is now registered under the Department of Tourism MIMAROPA
4. Dissemination of DOT Guidelines and Protocols – a total of 12 DOT Memorandum Circulars relative to the Health and Safety Guideline Governing the Operation of Accommodation Establishments, MICE Facilities, Island and Beach Destinations, Travel and Tours and Tourist Attractions during the community quarantine. These MCs were forwarded and disseminated to MTOs and concerned establishments for compliance.
• Tourism Promotion and Marketing
1. Provision of assistance to tourists in visiting tourist spots in the province
2. Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary – Arawatan Festival through the conduct of virtual/online contests. It also catered a wider audience in promoting the province as tourist destination in the country.
