Adaptation to meet the challenges of the New Normal

Adaptation to meet the challenges of the New Normal since 2020 has been the province’s recovery and rehabilitation plan consisting of appropriate priority programs, projects, and activities, categorized in three (3) components: Survival, Preparedness/Adaptation and Economic Rehabilitation.

  • Suportang Imprastratura para sa Muling Pag-angat ng Ekonomiya

    On the Education Program, in our pursuit to empower youth, strengthen educational support to High School and College students and improve access to educational resources, through Provincial Youth Development, we have implemented programs Tulong sa Pagsunong ng Edukasyon Para sa Kababaihan Program (PGO-PYDO), Educational Assistance for Medical Students (EAM), Provincial Educational Assistance Program (PEAP), Assistance for Youth Organization, Youth Development Programs, Youth activities and other educational- related purposes and Supplemental Learning Materials for Teaching (SALAMAT) Program.

    “Tulong sa pagsunong ng Edukasyon para sa Kababaihan program” has a total allotted fund of P 20,000,000.00 (5% Gender and Development Fund) for educational assistance. There are 1,154 grantees of Highschool students and 2,613 grantees from College/ Tertiary level. For female College students, each grantee received an amount of Php 3,000.00 per semester, amounting to Php 6,000.00 per year and for female high school students, each grantee shall receive an amount of Php 3,000.00 per year as their educational assistance.
